• Lupus is an autoimmune disease where body’s immune system attacks own tissue and produce inflammation. This attack can occur at any sites of the body (skin, blood, kidney and brain)
• Most commonly affects young females though it can also affect the pediatric population
• Most common symptoms are fatigue and joint pain
